Visus LLC’s Desktop Controller lets you secure your workstations that are used in public environments.

The Desktop Controller is fully configurable and was designed to make sure public users of workstations do not tamper with system settings and only access permitted applications. The Desktop Controller allows organizations to:

• Prevent harmful key combinations that allow access to system settings or commands.
• Prevent specific programs from running such as games, Word, Excel, Notepad, Internet Browsers etc.
• Guarantee program of choice is always running, even if it's closed by user.
• Hide desktop and icons
• Hide task bar
• Hide Start menu
• Disable the task manager, hide the task bar, the start button and the desktop
• Block any key combination including ALT+Tab, ALT+Esc and the Windows key
• Provide a white list of applications that are allowed to run
• Allow to easily switch between multiple applications
• Configure Transparency of control panel
• Easily allow one to many applications to be accessed by users through the Desktop Controller.
